Employees are in the first line of vulnerability when  bad guys target a company. So, it is very important to train your people.

Below are some tips to be shared to your employees so that they are aware about cyber attacks:

1. Make it a game: Most of us learn things by doing. So, you can organize an internal bug hunt competition among the employees . The second challenge can be thrown to them  could be “Think like a hacker” . These fun tasks will allow your employees to better understand the types of attacks.

2. Onboard employees along with training: When a new employee is hired, make the information security training a mandatory one. Without completing the training, they can’t complete the onboarding process or receive corporate assets.

3. Make use of many mediums: Circulate a security monthly newsletter or bulletin to all your employees which includes awareness videos and articles.

4. Embedded security training for developers: Training as an intrinsic part of Devops, rather than a separate task. Organizations should spend time in enabling their developers in secure coding practices.

5. Find security heads: Select and train security heads from each department who can   help their team mates to ensure quicker responses when adverse scenarios arise.
